Senior all-star volleyball game tonight at Midview

The county’s top senior volleyball players will face off tonight in the Lorain County Volleyball All-Star Game at Midview High School.

The night will feature two matches, the first at 6 p.m, with the second following 20 minutes after the completion of the first.

In the opener, Team No. 1, coached by Avon’s Jenn Larrick and Elyria’s Jodie Williams will take on Team No. 2, led by Amherst’s Laurie Cogan and Elyria Catholic’s Kim Watson. The nightcap will see Team No. 3, skippered by Admiral King’s Lynne Rositano and Vermilion’s Marty Yonkof, go against Team No. 4, under the direction of Lake Ridge’s Susan Bus, Keystone’s Jim Horvath and Columbia’s Wendy Owens.

The crowning of 2009’s Lorain County Miss Volleyball will conclude the evening.
