Mapleton’s last-second layup rips comeback victory from Open Door’s grasp

Posted by locofan  Published in High School Sports

STRONGSVILLE — Tournament games often are decided by the little things. A few missed free throws, a fourth foul on a key player, a bloody nose, an extra nine-tenths of a second, a last-second shot. All of these, and more, were the differences in Open Door’s heartbreaking 64-63 loss to Mapleton on Wednesday in the [...]

Girls basketball: Clearview opens season with a win over Open Door

Posted by locofan  Published in High School Sports

Clearview senior standout Kristen Marcucci can relate.
Already with a bad shoulder that will require [...]

I really hate that the Chronicle ran this story. I get angry every time someone commits a horrible crime and then the news media goes out and interviews friends and family who are of course going to say what a nice guy the person was. Do you really think they’re going to admit [...]

Although it was a long time ago, I am proud to say that I was able to know Jim at least a little. You see, I worked as a GM for Wendy’s for ten years, from the mid 70’s until the mid 80’s, and I worked with both Jim and Tammy at the unit [...]

If you don’t like the laws then get enough people together to change them. Dope smokers have been crying foul for decades and little has changed.

Personally, I hope they take his house.

Live next door to a dealer and let a couple of his “customers” approach [...]

This is to “Raven” A certain group of people crying foul like they always do. First of all, who do you think you are to come here and judge someone you never even knew. I am not sayin what happened was o.k. AND Officer Kerstetter deserves every bit [...]
